NEW DELHI : Lok Sabha was adjourned for about 15 minutes today after AIADMK members trooped into the Well creating pandemonium over the controversial circumstances that led to the death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
As soon as the Question Hour began, some AIADMK members including, women legislators, carrying placards entered into the Well and raised slogans ‘We Want CBI Inquiry’.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan kept on requesting them to go back to the seats and said she would allow them to raise the issue during Zero Hour. But as the request went unheeded, she adjourned the House for about 15 minutes.
Jayalalithaa died on December 5 last year. (AGENCIES)
