The LPG cap as announced by the Central Government has put the consumers in trouble.
The Gas distributors have stopped home delivery of gas cylinders and are asking consumers to receive gas cylinders at the Agency offices or distribution points. The distributors say that it is difficult for them to track the number of house holds which have already used six cylinders.
This move has put the consumers in great inconvenience particularly those who do not have men available at home to carry these cylinders from home to filling station and back. The situation seems to have returned to 90s when big queues of people were seen outside the filling stations.
There is an urgent need to address this issue for consumers’ sake. The concerned agencies and their officers should find a way out immediately.
