KATHUA, Aug 28: A special Lok Adalat for the land acquisition cases and labour disputes was held in the premises of District Court Complex Kathua, under the chairmanship of Pawan Dev Kotwal, chairman District Legal Service Authority (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Kathua.
In the Lok Adalat, two benches were constituted to settle the cases. One bench comprised of Pawan Dev Kotwal, Principal District & Sessions Judge Kathua and Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Addl District and Sessions Judge Kathua while the other bench comprised of Yashpal Sharma, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua and Deputy Kumar, District Mobile Magistrate Kathua.
A total number of 14 cases were taken up, out of which eight cases were settled and disposed off. An amount of Rs 5,000 was recovered as fine.
