UDHAMPUR, Mar 4: To celebrate the opening of Government Degree College at Neeli Nallah in Jib- Thathi area, a big rally of the locals of 22 Panchayats was organized, here today, where Ex-MLA Pawan Gupta was specially invited because of his key role in getting the college sanctioned.
The rally began from Jib Morh were Pawan Gupta was garlanded and welcomed. After passing through different area, the rally reached at Dubey Palace Balnagar were a public meeting was organized. On this occasion, Naseeb Singh, Veer Chander Sharma, Kiker Singh, Sugrive Padha, Raj Kumar Kerni, Isher Dass, Sarpanch Pritpal Singh, Sarpanch Shashi Sadotra, Mohan Lal Goswami, Ex- Sarpanch Lal Chand, Sarpanch Sushma Devi, Sarpanch Balwan Singh, Sandeep Khajuria and Raju Chandel address the public meeting and expressed their gratitude to Pawan Gupta for historic development of Jib- Thathi area comprising of more than 40 thousands voters of Udhampur Assembly constituency.
Speakers further said that sanctioning of a Government Degree College was biggest gift of Pawan Gupta to Jib-Thathi. We consider it a bonus gift from Ex-MLA who succeeded to through this college from Government,” they said.
Ex- MLA Pawan Gupta, while addressing the public, said that that this degree college will bring revolutionary changes in the educational dimensions and succeeds to provide economic security to the youth on the area. Voters of Udhampur Assembly constituency gave me tremendous support by heavily voting my candidature so it was my duty to serve the people of Udhampur Assembly constituency,” he added.
