LoC trade resumes after 3 weeks of suspension

POONCH: The Cross-Loc trade between two side of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) was resumed today after three weeks of suspension as goods worth Rs 1.17 crores were traded.

The cross-LoC trade was resumed after three weeks of suspensions along Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district today, District officials said today.

As many as nine trucked carrying chilli and black cumin worth Rs 5,493,750 went to PoK from traders of Jammu and Kashmir, while 9 trucks carrying pomegranate and dry dates worth Rs 6,265,000 reached Poonch Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) Chakan-Da-Bagh from traders of PoK, they said.

Last time LoC trade took place on September 23. (Agencies)
