More than three years have passed since the time Narendra Modi led NDA Government came into power. There were great hopes that the new Government may live upto the expectations of the voters, and fulfill all the promises made with the countrymen.
Now, it seems that the Government has gone off the track somewhere. This can be gauged from the fact that there is economic slowdown, followed by loss of jobs to educated youth. Demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax further compounded the problem of people.
As far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, the promise with regard to implementation of Mandal Report too has not been fulfilled. It is quite dismaying that neither the State nor the Central BJP leaders have made any statements for the due share of State OSCs whose counterparts in the country are enjoying Legal/Constitutional Rights in other parts of the country.
When PM Narendra Modi speaks his heart out through his monthly programme ‘Maan Ki Baat’, we hope he must listen to ‘Janta Ki Maan Ki Baat’ also.
