SAMBA, July 4: In continuation to its stringent action against illegal liquor menace, today police party of Police Station (PS), Bari Brahmana while on special naka checking duty near SIDCO Chowk Bari Brahmana intercepted one scooty bearing Registration Number JK02CG/2980 and recovered 50 bottles of JK Special Whisky 180/180 ML each from the possession of accused namely Harjeet Singh S/o Baldev Singh R/o Chatha Tehsil Gadi Garh Jammu.
The police party was led by PSI Maneesh Sharma under the supervision of Rajesh Sharma SHO, Bari Brahmana and SDPO Bari Brahmana, Nihar Ranjan.
The accused has been arrested and case was registered under relevant sections of the law against him.
