RAJOURI, Dec 8: A book on the life and contribution of former Prime Minister of J&K Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah was released at a function held here today.
Former Minister and senior NC leader Dr Mustafa Kamaal who was the chief guest released the book in presence of a galaxy of dignitaries at Dak Bungalow here this afternoon. The book has been written by engineer Liaqat Choudhary. His booklet highlights the contribution of late Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Former MP and Speaker Mirza Abdul Rashid, former MLA Aslam Khan, vice president of the party R L Gupta Shafqar Mir and several writers of the Rajouri Poonch area were present on the occasion.
