SAMBA, Feb 25: The 31st annual convention of Life Insurance Agents Federation of India (LIAFI), Srinagar Division was held at Vijaypur today.
MP, Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha, constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. He praised the qualities of Narender Sharma, Divisional president Srinagar Division and Bodh Raj Sharma, Divisional secretary.
Others who attended the meeting included Ravinder Sharma, All India president, Life Insurance Agents Federation of India, Tota Ram Upadhaya, secretary Northern Zone, LIAFI, Vikas Bhardwaj, vice president LIAFI, New Delhi, Ajay Jain divisional secretary, Karnal Division, T S Bali, Senior Divisional Manager Srinagar Division, Sagar Dev Nagi, Marketing Manager Srinagar Division, Dinesh Singh Salathia, Manager Sales D O Cell Jammu, Som Nath Sharma, Manager CLIA D O Cell Jammu.
The handout issued by the Federation said that this year is a special and proud movement for the agents of Srinagar, Division as a dynamic and sincere worker of the Federation Narender Sharma was appointed as the zonal president of Northern Zone.
The Federation demanded implementation of Sambhrdan Pension Scheme for agents ,Welfare Fund for agents, increase in bonus for the policy holders, new formula be adopted for calculation of gratuity of agents etc during the convention.
