LG’s right gesture

Sir,
Lieutenant Governor’s recent narrative for talks with all stakeholders reveals the intensity of his efforts towards restoration of peace in UT of Jammu and Kashmir. LG has said that he is always willing to talk to all stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier too, he had made an appeal to militant groups to surrender with the full assurance of rehabilitation in a suitable manner. Our misguided youth are given an opportunity which needs to be cherished in letter and spirit. Window is now open for holding of discussions and solutions can be sorted out in a peaceful atmosphere. Abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A was revoked last year by the Indian Parliament and consequently, Jammu and Kashmir was declared UT. Ladakh becames separate UT. It has altogether changed the geo, political structure of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
In this situation separatists and many mainstream political parties failed to digest the transformation and revocation. They began to give statements which hurt the sentiments of the patriotic forces in the country. In changed scenario these politicians feel redundant and incomplete. In Indian democracy everyone is free to express his ideas but this does not mean that we will cross the limits set by the law of land. To a large extent peace has returned and common man has understood the difference between the present Govt and the erstwhile Govt of the State. The time has come when people have to come forward and strengthen the present Govt in UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
