JAMMU, Jan 7: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited GMC Jammu today to inquire about the health of civilians, who were injured in Rajouri terror attack.
Dr. Shashi Sudan, Principal, GMC Jammu and other senior doctors briefed the Lt Governor on the health condition of Sanvi Sharma, Prince Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Pawan Kumar and medical procedures being followed.
The Lt Governor also met the family members and assured all possible assistance. He directed the hospital administration for ensuring the best possible medical care and assistance for their speedy recovery.
Sinha inquired in detail condition of the injured, treatment being provided to them and further requirements. He also spoke to some of the injured and their family members to take feedback.
Six persons, two of them minors, were killed and over a dozen others were injured in twin terror strikes at Upper Dhangri in Rajouri district on New Year.
Four of them were airlifted to Jammu and admitted in the GMC while rest are admitted in the GMC Rajouri and they are responding to the treatment.
A day before, a team of senior doctors from various hospitals was deputed to the GMC-Jammu to monitor condition of the injured.
