Srinagar, Sep 4: Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha congratulated Manish Narwal and Singhraj Adhana for winning medals at Tokyo Paralympics on Saturday.
Taking to Twitter, Sinha said, “What a wonderful moment! Two more medals for India. Congratulations to Manish Narwal & Singhraj Adhana on winning Gold and Silver respectively in the mixed 50m Pistol Shooting event at Tokyo Paralympics. The entire nation is proud of your outstanding performance”.
Narwal, a BA first class student, shot a total of 218.2, a Paralympic record, to claim the Gold medal while Adhana, who had won the bronze in the P1 men’s 10m air pistol SH1 event on Tuesday, added a silver to his kitty with an effort of 216.7 today.
This is India’s third gold at the ongoing Paralympics. (Agencies)
