LG participates in Mahayagya at Zeashta Devi Temple

Srinagar, May 10: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha participated in the Mahayagya organised on the auspicious occasion of Zeashta Mata Jayanti, today at Zeashta Devi Temple, Zeathyar Srinagar.
The Lt Governor sought the blessings of Mata Zeashta and prayed for the well being of one & all.
The Lt Governor, during his visit, also interacted with the people and extended his heartiest greetings on the auspicious occasion.

Ashok Koul, J&K BJP General Secretary, who was also present at the event, highlighted the ongoing renovation efforts for approximately 40 temples in Jammu and Kashmir. He mentioned that both the administration and local temple management have been actively involved in renovating temples, with some receiving support under the smart city project.
Bharat Bushan Bhat, President of the Zeashta Devi Prabandhak Committee called for the inclusion of stakeholders in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to address temple encroachments. He highlighted the need for proper demarcation of temple lands, citing changes in revenue records over time.
