LG extends Maha Shivratri, Herath, Shab-i-Miraj greetings

JAMMU, Feb 28: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has extended his greetings to the people on the eve of Maha Shivratri.
In his message, the Lt Governor said, the festival also celebrated as Herath by Kashmiri Pandits is an auspicious occasion to rededicate ourselves to living a virtuous life.
“Shiva is the embodiment of strength, righteousness and moral values. On this occasion, I pray for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of all. May this MahaShivratri strengthen our faith in the goodness of mankind and inspire one and all to lead a virtuous life”, prayed the Lt Governor.
LG has also extended his greetings to people of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of Shab-i-Miraj.
In his message of felicitations, the Lt Governor said the auspicious occasion reflects the true spirit of our composite culture and instills the spirit of brotherhood and harmony among all.
The Lt Governor prayed for sustained peace, progress and prosperity in the lives of the people.
