JAMMU, June 7: The panic gripped entire Purmandal area after the people witnessed two leopards in the Mandal village during last two days.
The people have mostly remained indoors fearing the attack by the beasts. The people alleged that no wild life official was available in the area to cage the beasts or force them back to jungle. The panic stricken people of the area have made an appeal to authorities to depute a team of wild life officials in the area immediately.
