MENDHAR, Nov 6: A full grown leopard killed four goats and a dog in Kalaban area of Mendhar in district Poonch last night.
A police spokesman said that family members of Mukhtar Khan, resident of Kalaban reported Police Station, Mendhar today that a leopard entered into his cattle-shed last night and killed four goats and a dog. The wild beast also took away a goat and ran towards jungle. The police party and Veterinary team rushed the site. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. The villagers claimed that this leopard has created terror in this belt and people remain confined into their homes during night hours due to the fear of this wild beast.
