JAMMU: The Legislative Assembly today passed a resolution seeking eradication of drug addiction in the State.
The members also urged the Government to take strict action to check the menace and come up with stronger laws to punish drug-peddlers.
The resolution was moved by Congress MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool while Aijaz Ahmad Khan (Congress), Ali Mohammad Sagar (NC), Usman Majid (Congress) and several other Legislators supported it. (AGENCIES)
