JAMMU, Feb 14: A delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum, led by the State president, Kiranjeet Kour, called on the Chairman and Secretary J&K Board of School Education and submitted a memorandum of demands and suggestive measures for the smooth conduct of forthcoming 10th and 12th Board exams.
The Forum demanded that hypersensitive exam centres should be identified and extra security arrangements should be made for the supervisory staff. It also demanded that strict seniority should be maintained in appointment of Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents and that JK BOSE inspection teams should be headed by an officer not less than that of Asstt Secretary and that BOSE teams should visit the hypersensitive centers regularly.
The delegation suggested appointment of vice principal of the institution as co-Inspector for smooth and effective conduct of exams and the Chairman promised to appoint the co-Inspector from this session itself.
The deputation also demanded enhancement in supervisory and practical remuneration, removal of disparity in remuneration/ TA/DA rates between members of +2 cadre and BOSE employees. It was also demanded that no exam should be held on April 9, 2016 as the Plus 2 community celebrates Annual Lecturers’ Day on the said date.
The Chairman assured to implement the suggestion in letter and spirit. He also solicited cooperation of the Forum in future also for the conduct of exams and other activities of the BOSE.
The delegation comprised of Anil Sharma, Dr Sushma, RS Salathia, Charan Dass, Deepak Sharma, Tarsem Singh, Arunesh Kumar, Sanjay Bhagat, Pardeep Singh, Ashok Kumar, Kashmir Singh Chib, Ram Murti, Mohan Lal Sharma and Rajinder Kumar.
