JAMMU, Nov 9: The Department of Commerce (SAP-DRS III), University of Jammu, in collaboration with JKEDI (Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute) organized a lecture on ‘Entrepreneurial Opportunities for Youth’ on the eve of National Entrepreneurship Day, , here today.
The programme was initiated to motivate the students to become an entrepreneur due to inadequate job opportunities in the public sector, intense competition for acquiring and retaining a job and long career graph with bleak future.
The team of experts, including Shiwani Sharma, Abhineet Singh and Vir Pratap Singh from JKEDI made a comprehensive presentation about the entrepreneurship opportunities, JKEDI support and challenges to prospective entrepreneurs.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by Prof Neetu Andotra, Head and Co-ordinator SAP, Department of Commerce, JU while Dr Jeevan Jyoti, Senior Assistant Professor extended vote of thanks.
