Leaders of different trade unions call for common platform

JAMMU, Mar 3: Leaders of different trade unions have called for a united platform on common agreed demands of all the employees with a basic concept of unity and struggle in a democratic and collective way while keeping their organizational identities.
A unanimous opinion in this regard was made during a joint meeting of the trade union leaders, representing different federations and association of Government as well as semi-Government employees, here today.
The meeting was attended by  Gulam Rasool Mir (president  of Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union),  Mohd Maqbool (president JKCCTU), Babu Hussain Malik ( State president EJAC-R), Farooq Ahmad Zargar (president of  J&K Assembly Employees  Union), Maqbool Hussain (president J&K Lower Grade Civil Secretariat Employees Union), Nanaji Bhat, Bashir Ahmad, Bharat Bhushan, Purshotam Sharma, Gurmeet Singh, Seva Ram Rathore, Meenakshi Sharma, Ansuya Gupta, Manzoor Ahmad, Surinder Sharma, Vikas Chander, Deepak Tondon and Krishan Singh.
