NEW DELHI, Nov 16: Tracking a firming trend in the base metals pack at the domestic markets, lead futures traded higher by 0.13 per cent today on increased positions built up by speculators.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in November traded higher by 20 pasise, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 351 per kg, in a business turnover of 351 lots.
The metal for delivery in December was up by 15 paise, or 0.09 per cent to trade at Rs 159.20 per kg in 3 lots.
Market analysts said strong demand from battery-makers in spot market, mainly influenced lead futures. (PTI)
