NEW DELHI, June 18: Lead futures rose marginally by 0.22 per cent to Rs 115.60 per kg today amid demand at the domestic spot market and a firming global trend.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in June traded higher by 25 paise, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 115.60 per kg, with a turnover of 535 lots.
The metal for delivery in July gained 25 paise, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 116.75 per kg in a business volume of six lots.
Analysts said apart from domestic demand, mainly from battery-makers, the metal’s gain in overseas market too influenced lead prices in futures trade. (PTI)
