NEW DELHI, Jan 17: Amid weak global trend and lower domestic demand, lead prices down by 0.56 per cent to Rs 132.95 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in January declined 75 paise, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 132.95 per kg in business turnover of 252 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in February shed 70 paise, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 134.25 per kg in 18 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in lead futures to weak global trend and falling demand in spot markets. (PTI)
