Srinagar, June 15: Government today said that the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) has issued 189 building permissions including Residential, Commercial and Government building.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Mohammad Ashraf Mir in Lower House, Minister incharge Housing and Urban Development Department stated that the LAWDA has issued 189 building permissions from 01-02-2014 to 30-04-02016 including 177 residential buildings, 11 commercial buildings and 1 Government building. Besides, 36 permissions have been issued to flood effected persons.
“LAWDA has notified 1143 kanals and 10 Marlas of land at Chandpora Harwan, out of which 562 kanals 17 marlas and 187 square feet has been acquired till date,” the Minister stated.
