JAMMU, Jan 25: The Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in Jammu and Kashmir today distributed litigation work and criminal acquittal appeal cases amongst the Law Officers in Jammu Wing of the High Court.
For the criminal acquittal appeals/cases/Habeas Corpus cases, Additional Advocate General Aseem Sawhney has been allotted Jammu and Kathua district while Deputy Advocate General Arshad Malik and Vishal Bharti have been allotted Samba and Udhampur districts, respectively.
Government Advocates Sunil Malhotra, Adarsh Bhagat, Jamrodh Singh Bhanu Jasrotia have been allotted district of Doda-Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban-Reasi and Rajouri, respectively.
A separate order was issued for distribution of litigation work among the Law Officers, according to which Senior Advocate General, S S Nanda has been allotted the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Jammu Municipal Corporation, J&K Housing Board and Revenue Department.
Senior Additional Advocate General H A Siddique has been allocated Health & Medical Education Department, State Legal Service Authority, ARI and Training Department, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department.
Additional Advocate General Ravinder Gupta has been allocated PW(R&B) Department, J&K Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, School Education (Districts of Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu) and Ranbir Government Press.
Addl Advocate General F A Natnoo has been allocated Industries & Commerce Department, PDD, Custodian Department, JKTDC, DA, JKBOPEE and Tourism Department while Addl Advocate General Raman Sharma has been allocated Home Department, Anti corruption Bureau, Higher Education and JAKFED.
Dy Advocate General Vishal Bharti gets Agriculture Production, School Education (Udhampur, Ramban and Samba), Horticulture, Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Department while Dy Advocate General Arshad Malik has been allocated Transport Department, Cable Car Corporation, JKPCC and Floriculture, including Gardens and Parks.
Dy Advocate General K D S Kotwal has been allocated Cooperative Department, Youth Services & Sports, Animal, Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries and Social Welfare Department while Dy Advocate General Ayjaz Lone gets Labour & Employment, Service Selection Board, Haj and Aquaf and RDD.
Sunil Malhotra gets School Education Department ( Doda, Kishtwar and Reasi districts), JKSRTC, Information Department and Information Technology while Jamrodh Singh has been allocated Department of Tribal Affairs, J&K Agro Industries Ltd, SIDCO, SICOP, Science & Technology Department.
Bhanu Jasrotia has been allocated Department of Culture, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Khadi Village Industries Board and Skill Development Department while Adarsh Bhagat gets Civil Aviation Department.
