JAMMU, Oct 28: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has clarified that Wasim Sadiq Nargal is Senior Additional Advocate General and has been allotted Home and Information Departments.
“In Government Order No.5380-LD(A) dated October 27, 2017, Wasim Sadiq Nargal has inadvertently been mentioned as Additional Advocate General. He is actually Senior Additional Advocate General and shall figure below Senior AAG Seema Shekhar Khajooria”, reads the corrigendum issued by the Law Department.
Moreover, the Law Department in partial modification of yesterday’s order has re-distributed the litigation work in Kashmir as well as Jammu Wings of the High Court.
As per the modified order, Mehraj-ud-Din Bhat, Deputy Advocate General has been allotted Urban Local Bodies, UEED, JKTDC in addition to the departments already allotted in Kashmir Wing of the High Court.
Similarly, Government Advocate Amit Chopra has been allotted Youth Services and Sports, Technical Education, Department of Culture, J&K Academy and Art, Culture and Languages in Jammu Wing of the High Court.
