LOS ANGELES, Feb 15: “Supergirl” actress Laura Benanti has become a mother on Valentine’s Day after welcoming her first child.
The 37-year-old Tony-winning actress gave birth to a baby girl on February 14. This is her first child with husband Patrick Brown, reported People magazine.
“Laura gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl at 3:33pm eastern this afternoon,” a representative for the Broadway star said in a statement.
As of now, no additional information is available regarding the baby’s name and other details.
Benanti announced she’s pregnant with her first child via social media last August.
The “Nashville” actress wrote on Instagram, “Patrick and I doing some light summer reading. Coming this winter…#BabyGirlBrown!!!” Her post came along with a picture of the couple reading “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”.
Benanti tied the knot with Brown in November 2015 after five months of engagement. It’s her third marriage.
In 2005, she got married to Spin Doctors’ frontman Chris Barron, but they split a year later. She then got married to actor Steven Pasquale for six years, before they called it quits in 2013. (PTI)
