SRINAGAR: Governor N N Vohra today stressed the need for planning sports and games competitions in all 22 districts of the state throughout the year.
An official spokesman said here this evening that Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports Imran Raza Ansari, met Mr Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here. The Governor advised Mr Ansari to launch a well planned programme for sports and games competitions taking place in each of the 22 districts through the year.
He also suggested to the Minister that the Sports Department should also organise State and Inter-State level Championships in identified sports and games to provide the youth to advance their skills. (AGENCIES)
