Languishing projects could be now completed

Water, electricity, connectivity, healthcare and the like perhaps, are among the top priorities, people would like to be taken up by the Government on serious and concrete basis. The travesty , however, is that politicians, Ministers etc when in Government, want to keep the people happy by announcing various projects related to these basic requirements but soon that happiness turns into resentment as most of such projects somehow started, are soon abandoned and made to languish .
Speculations about such projects keep simmering as to whether they were altogether abandoned or had some chances of revival. It is heartening to learn that these too many in number projects, could hopefully be completed by the end of 2019. And these projects are not any less in number but are unimaginably as many as 1730. The Governor’s administration is , more or less, generating positive hopes in the minds of the people by addressing those issues and problems which its administration inherited by the previous State Government which conspicuously proved below the expectations of the people.
When thinking on innovative and workable propositions is given a serious purge for going practical, steps like establishment of Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (JKIDFC) are successfully taken . The Corporation was authorised to go in for obtaining credit facilities from various financial institutions including a consortium of Banks .The initiative , a major one has fructified to pave the way for restarting the projects in dormancy to speed up the work on them so that they were soon completed , all in the interests of the people. We wish early completion of these projects by the end of December 2019.
