Accompanied by State general secretary, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, candidate of the party for Vijaypur constituency, Jagdish Raj Verma and other senior leaders of the party, Langeh addressed a series of meetings at various corners of the constituency including Kholpur, Khanpur, Pakhri, Keso Kamore, Barota, Nanga, Bakhan Chak and Keranwali.
During the meetings, people complained that due to erratic power supply the paddy crops are suffering badly, as poor monsoon rains is not catering to the needs of the farmers.
People also resented that despite assurances of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the Bandh (protection wall) has not been constructed so far on the bank of river Basantar right from Kholpur to Rangoor Nanga and in case of heavy rainfall the people of the area may have to face similar flash flood as was occurred in 1913.
