KISHTWAR, May 18: Heavy rains today triggered landslides near Drabshala and snapped Kishtwar’s road link with rest of the State.
The vehicular movement on Kishtwar-Doda road came to standstill due to major landslide near Drabshala early this morning.
Men and machinery of General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF) were immediately pressed to clear the heavy boulders but the traffic movement could not be restored on the road.
Hundreds of vehicles, including passenger and private ones were stranded.
The sudden closure of the road forced thousands of passengers to halt at several places on the road.
An official of GREF said that  road will be restored at the earliest.
