UDHAMPUR, Aug 30: Due to heavy rain fall in Panchari area of district Udhampur, landslide occured at Chubu Nallah resulting into blockage of Panchari Udhampur road link.
According to the locals, administration did not act timely despite continuous landslides in the area since March. District Administration and Ministers visited the area after first landslide in March but no permanent solution was evolved to check erosion of soil.
Whenever there is heavy rainfall, the landslides take place and road link between Udhampur and Panchari gets blocked resulting into problems to locals.
