JAMMU, Nov 18: Engineering Export Promotion Council India has launched its Jammu Chapter and nominated Lalit Mahajan, President of Bari Brahmana Industries Association’ as its Convenor.
The Jammu Chapter was launched during a function organized by EEPC India at Jammu Convention Center under the chairmanship of Mahesh Desai Chairman, EEPC India in presence of Kamna Raj Aggarwal, Regional Chairperson EEPC India; Pardeep K Aggarwal, Dy Regional Chairman (NR), EEPC India; Rakesh Suraj, Regional Director (NR), EEPC India; Suvidh Shah, Jt DGFT Ludhiana, representative of various Govt departments, nationalized banks, members of industrial fraternity of Jammu & Kashmir.
Kuldeep Nayyar from M/s Nayyar Electrodes was nominated as Deputy Convener & Vinod Sachdeva of M/s Electric Field Company as Committee Member of Jammu Chapter of EEPC.
EEPC India is a premier trade and investment promotion organization in India working under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, set up in 1955, EEPC India now has a membership base of over 12,000 out of which 60 percent are SMEs and caters to the Indian Engineering sector. As an advisory body it actively contributes to the policies of the Government of India and acts as an interface between the Engineering Industry and the Government.
Lalit Mahajan conveyed his thanks to EEPC India for providing a responsibility as Convenor of the Jammu Chapter and assured that he will provide all sort of support to EEPC India to encourage the Export of Engineering Goods from Jammu & Kashmir.
” With the opening of Jammu Chapter in Jammu, we expect that the export of engineering goods from the local working industry as well as new entrepreneurs will scale a new heights in near future with the active support of EEPC India for the identification of products, DPR, technical knowhow, marketing support, better credit facilities for export oriented units, buyer-seller meet at national /international level with the aim to provide the requisite support to existing industry to enter in the international market for the export of quality products,” he added.
Lalit Mahajan also requested the unit holders for exporting their goods directly with the guidance of EEPC.
