JAMMU, Dec 19: Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings Choudhary Lal Singh released a book titled “Invincible Invisible India’ written by Ashesh Kumar Dogra here this morning.
The function was organized by President Nami Dogri Sanstha Harish Kaila at K L Saighal hall in Abhinav Theatre.
On the occasion, Ex. Minister Jagjivan Lal, renowned Urdu story writer and poet, Sham Sunder Lehar besides a large number of prominent poets, writers, artists and eminent persons were present on the occasion.
Congratulating Ashesh Kumar Dogra, the Minister said that the book is a tribute to the unsung heroes of the 1971 war who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He lauded the effort of writer for bringing out very useful and informative book, saying it will bring out certain unknown facts about these heroes.
Choudhary Lal Singh also lauded the efforts of Nami Dogri Sanstha, one of the oldest and premier literary organizations of the State for providing platform to writers, artists and poets. He assured that the present Government will take all necessary steps to promote Dogri in schools and colleges.
The Minister said that the cultural diversity of the State and richness of literature in different languages have contributed a lot in developing love bonds between various cultures.
He said that literature speaks about a civilization and is rich historic treasure to know in detail about the life style of a people and the area.
