UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a Tiranga Yatra to celebrate 70th Independence Day of the Nation. In J&K State, Tiranga Yatra which started on August 9 culminated today at Udhampur by organizing a big function.
Tiranga Yatra reached at Flata Rehmbal near here under the leadership of Forest Minister Chowdhary Lal Singh, PHE Minister Sham Chowdhary, Minister of State Priya Sethi and Minister of State, Sunil Sharma.
In Udhampur BJP State general secretary, Pawan Khajuria along with a large number of BJP leaders and cadre welcomed the Yatra at Flata Rehmbal where from they took out a rally at Dabbar Chowk by passing through Rehmbal Garhi, Chopra Shop, MH Chowk, Dabbar Chowk, Mukherji Bazar, Court Road, Salathia Chowk, Dhar Road, Venus Chowk and Main Bazar.
In Gole Market, BJP held a public gathering where speakers focus was on the main aim of organizing Tiranga rally. They said the rally was taken to inculcate the values of nationalism, brotherhood patriotism and communal harmony among the young generation of the country, BJP State General Secretary. Pawan Khajuria has thanked senior Party leaders and Ministers of State, BJP-PDP Government for participating in the rally.
Khajuria also expressed that Tiranga Yatra will definitely strengthen BJP in whole State. Local leaders Som Raj Khajuria, Rakesh Gupta, Krishan Lal Sharma, Neelam Nargotra, Satpaul Sallan, Ramneek Sharma, Mohan Lal Darahi, Akshay Kumar Bunty, Suresh Gupta also addressed the closing function of Tiranga Yatra.
