JAMMU: Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment Choudhary Lal Singh today reaffirmed Government’s commitment towards ensuring responsive, transparent and accountable service delivery system to people of the state.
The Minister said this while addressing a public grievances redressal camp at Trikuta Nagar, here today.
Interacting with the deputations and individuals, Choudhary Lal Singh said that present Government is committed to fulfill the developmental aspirations of the people and numerous initiatives have been launched in this regard. He further said that concerted efforts are on to make Jammu and Kashmir as a model State with latest infrastructural edifice, focus on road connectivity, education, healthcare, uninterrupted power and water supply.
The Minister assured the public of early redressal of their projected issues and directed the officers to ensure speedy action on the same. He said Government is making all efforts to mitigate the problems of the people.
Singh said that objective of conducting such camp is to provide a single platform to the public for raising their issues and demands so that these are responded on-the-spot by the concerned officers.
Stressing that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is one of the important schemes launched by the Government, the Minister urged the people to cooperate with the concerned departments in making Jammu city neat and clean.
Responding to issues regarding preparation of Aadhar cards, the Minister directed concerned agencies to take necessary action for facilitating Aadhar generation.
