JAMMU, Oct 28: Former Minister Choudhary Lal Singh and family of ex Chief Minister G M Shah among more than half a dozen politicians have been served notices to vacate Government accommodation in Jammu.
Sources told the Excelsior that notices were served by the Department of Estates on October 25 asking the ‘illegal occupants’ to vacate their respective Government accommodation within a period of one week.
As per the sources, more politicians from different political parties, who are ‘illegally’ occupying Government accommodation are also likely to be served similar eviction notices in the second phase.
In Kashmir also, eviction notices have been served to several politicians, including PDP president and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
