LAHDC sanctions Rs 20 lakh to Asoka Mission

LEH, Apr 1: In a significant decision, the LAHDC, decided to sanction an amount of Rs 20 lakh from the account of LAHDC, Leh Dhana Petrol Pump as a contribution in favour of Asoka Mission.
‘Dana Petrol Pump’ was established in 2015 at Tyare-rong by LAHDC, Leh with an MoU with HPCL and this pump is one of the unique pump of its kind in India as the profit generated from this pump will be used for giving financial help to the needy and poor patients of Leh district seeking treatment from outside Ladakh.
Asoka Mission lead by Lama Lobzang besides helping needy and poor patients of Ladakh at Delhi to get proper treatment timely is also providing commendable health services to the poor and needy people of Ladakh and organizing medical camps of specialist doctors from AIIMS and other reputed medical institutes of nation in SNM Hospital, Leh and Kargil Hospital from decades annually benefiting thousands of needy and poor patients immensely at Ladakh itself.
