JAMMU, June 3: A lady has been raped by a man on marriage pretext.
As per police sources, a lady hailing from Tehsil Bishnah, at present Sunjwan lodged a complaint with Police Station Channi Himmat stating that a man identified as Dimple Kumar, son of Rattan Chand, a resident of Chatha Pind made physical relations with her on the pretext of marrying her, but now he refused for the marriage.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 82/19 under section 376 and 109 RPC was registered at Channi Himmat Police Station and investigation started.
