Srinagar, Sept 28: Police today said a lady committed suicide in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said a lady (name with held) resident of Lawoosa village of Handwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home. “She was shifted to hospital for treatment where doctors declared her brought dead. After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites,” the spokesman said.
