JAMMU, Nov 20: Under the initiative ‘Joy of Giving’, Ladies Club Salal Power Station helped out needy students.
As per official spokesman, Salal Officers Ladies Club under the leadership of Vanita Shekhar, wife of Himanshu Shekhar, Chief General Manager, Salal Power Station, provided blankets, fruits and sweets to the poor people living in slum area in Jyotipuram.
The initiative of Salal Officers Ladies Club has a positive effect among the inhabitants of slum.
All the poor beneficiaries appreciated the help extended by Salal Officers Ladies Club and were happy to get the blankets. They were also excited that now they would be able to have sound sleep in cold nights.
