JAMMU, Jan 24: Various students associations from Ladakh along with senior citizens held protest-cum-peace march and urged the administration vis-à-vis Police Department to trace the missing boy at the earliest.
The Ladakhi students along with senior citizens assembled outside Press Club and raised slogans in favour of early recovery of the missing boy namely Stanzin Kunga (17), son of Tsewang Faldan, resident of village Sani, Zanskar, district Kargil, at present Bhagwati Nagar.
The missing boy is a class 11th student of Hari Singh High School Jammu. He is having 4 feet height with short hair, fair complexion and wearing light orange sweater and black trouser when last seen.
The boy is missing from rented accommodation since the evening of January 15 and still there is no information of his whereabouts, which reflects the casual approach of the administration to trace the missing youth.
The protestors said that this is for the first time that a Ladakhi boy went missing in Jammu and this is a matter of great concern for all Ladakhi students and their parents.
The family of the missing child is in sheer agony and on behalf of their family, the protestors urged the administration and Police Department to trace the missing boy at the earliest. They also sought public cooperation to trace the boy.
