JAMMU, Apr 23: Students from Ladakh studying in Jammu today held a protest against Chinese incursion into Indian territory and demanded that the Centre act firmly to counter the aggressive posturing of troops from across the border.
The protest was held outside Jammu University by the members of Ladakh Students’ Association who shouted slogans against the incursion by Chinese troops in the Daulat Baig Oldi (DBO) sector and urged the Government against acting as a “mute spectator”.
The protesting students were also addressed by leaders of the Association who said that people in Ladakh were feeling insecure due to repeated incursions by Chinese troops. We urge the Centre to take measures to check the aggressive posturing of China, they demanded.
