LEH , Oct 14: For the recruitment of the posts of Constables in the Ladakh Police Department through transparent process, the UT administration today accorded sanction to the constitution of Ladakh Police (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Board.
Headed by AIG Personnel, PHQ Ladakh, Stanzin Nurboo, the Police Recruitment Board is comprising Gaurav Mahajan (SP security), Mohd Hussain (DySP Personnel PHQ Ladakh), Tundup Dorjey ( DySP IR 25th) and Mohd Ali ( DySP-M) as the Members.
The Board shall strictly supervise the first three phases of recruitment (viz Physical Endurance Test, Physical Measurement Tests & Written Test) for the posts of Constables, available in Police Department, under direct recruitment.
At the time of undertaking recruitment, at least half the strength of the Board will be reckoned as quorum for the purpose of recruitment. However, the Chairman of the Board shall always be part of the said quorum, except in emergent situation, in which he shall nominate the senior- most Member to be part of the said quorum.
The Chairman of the Police Recruitment Board shall also be at liberty to co-opt any officer(s) in its deliberations.
