Ladakh LG asks police officers to solve KVS exam scam expeditiously

LEH, Mar 2: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Retd) BD Mishra today asked the Ladakh Police officers to solve the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) recruitment online exam cheating scam at the earliest.
As per a statement, the LG Ladakh inquired about the police teams deployed to arrest the people involved in the scam and also the periodic updates provided to the team. The ADGP Ladakh Police, Satish Khandare, according to the statement, apprised the Lieutenant Governor of the raids conducted by the police teams at various places in Bahadurgarh and Rohtak in Haryana. The senior police officer told the LG Ladakh that two of the accused were operating a computer coaching centre in Leh and the remaining were providing IT support.
Calling the incident as “worrying”, the LG Ladakh inquired about the precautionary steps that can be taken for deterring the criminals from repeating such acts in the future without causing any false alarm among the public.
He instructed the Ladakh police to solve the case at the earliest and ensure that the IT/coaching centres from Ladakh don’t indulge in such acts in future.
The ADGP Ladakh assured the LG Ladakh to solve the case at the earliest. Senior Superintendent of Police Leh, PD Nitya was also present in the meeting.
