LEH, June 2: The Ladakh administration has announced that next of kin of Army and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel will get ex gratia relief if they are martyred or permanently/partially disabled in action or in course of performing duty attributable to the breach of law and order or any other form of civil commotion in the Union Territory.
For death, the next of kin of security personnel will get Rs 5 lakh, Rs three lakh for permanent disability or if the disability is more than 50 percent and Rs 1.5 lakh for partial disability or if the disability is less than 50 percent.
An order to this effect was issued by the Home Department of the UT of Ladakh administration.
