JAMMU, Aug 7: The Union Territory Administration in Ladakh has assigned the responsibilities of Director of the Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) and Director of Fisheries to the in-charge Joint Directors (JDs) of the respective departments.
“Consequent upon the retirement on superannuation of Dr Mohammad Iqbal, the then Director of Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, on July 31, 2024, and in the interest of administration, Dr Mohammad Ismail, in-charge Joint Director of Animal Husbandry, shall hold the charge of the post of Director of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, in addition to his own duties, until further orders,” read an order issued by the Department of Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries.
Another order stated, “Pursuant to the order issued by the General Administration Department dated August 5, 2024, it is hereby ordered that Dr Iftikhar Hussain, in-charge Joint Director of Sheep Husbandry, shall hold the charge of the post of Director of Sheep Husbandry, in addition to his own duties, until further orders.”
