JAMMU, Dec 18: A labourer was buried alive and one other seriously injured when the wall of an under-construction petroleum oil tank caved at Sai Petrol Filling Station, Narwal here today.
Police spokesman said that, wall of an under-construction petroleum tank collapsed at Sai Petrol Filling Station, Narwal, in which two labourers were trapped beneath.
The employees of the petrol pump and other labourers pulled them out after clearing the debris and shifted them to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), he added.
At GMC Hospital, doctors declared 22-year-old Arjun Naik, resident of Chattisgarh, at present Kunjwani as brought dead, while, condition of 28-year-old Vipin, son of Sansar Chand, of Punjab at present Digiana was stated to be critical, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Narwal Police Post and investigation started.
