JAMMU, July 31: A labourer was found hanging this afternoon at her shanty (jhuggi) in Sanjay Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a woman labourer namely Rani Devi (25) wife of Deepak Kumar, resident of Madhya Pradesh, was found hanging this afternoon in a shanty at Sanjay Nagar (Digiana), where she was presently living.
After getting information, a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while Digiana police had initiated inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC in the case.
