UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: A labourer was killed and his son and another person got injured when wall of an under-construction house collapsed at Sambal Dangha near DC Office in Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Pappu (57) son of Annant Ram of Sambal Denga, Udhampur. The injured were identified as Shiv Kumar son of Pappu and Bittu Kumar son of Amar Nath. Their condition was stated to be serious.
The mishap took place when protection wall of residential house of Mohd Ishaq Bhat collapsed due to the land erosion.
Police rushed to spot and shifted all the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared Pappu as brought dead and rest two were admitted in the hospital in critical condition.
Total five labourers were working at the site and three of them came under debris of the collapsed wall.
